The End of History is a theory started in the nineteenth century by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and later resumed in the last quarter of the twentieth century, the crisis in the context of historiography and social sciences in general.
This theory holds, as the name suggests, the end of the historical processes characterized as processes of change. For Hegel this would happen when mankind to reach equilibrium, represented, according to him, the rise of liberalism and legal equality, but for an indefinite period to occur.
Resuming at the end of the twentieth century, this theory has already acquired the character of situation occurred because, according to its thinkers, history ended in the episode of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
